Jim Smitherman Endorses John Bogosian
"I support John Bogosian for re-election to the Isle of Palms City Council. Four years ago, John brought his years of business experience to the Isle of Palms City Council, and during that time we witnessed the quality of his work and leadership. John couples his expertise in analysis, strategic planning, finance and operations with excellent listening skills and empathy. John brings a calm, balanced and trusting presence to the City Council that is vital to gaining consensus on important City matters. John demonstrates respect to his colleagues, and he can be trusted to fulfill his commitments. John has dedicated his life to service witnessed by his time on City Council and his contributions to charity work at
the IOP Exchange Club. He and his wife Carol are active regularly and are well respected. We need John to continue his work on the IOP City Council, and I encourage everyone to vote for John in November."

Les & Paula Kutcher Endorse John Bogosian
"John Bogosian has recently announced that he will be seeking a 2nd term on the IOP City Council, on which he has commendably served since 2022. That is certainly good news for those of us that call Isle of Palms home. John is a remarkably clear thinking, level-headed, pragmatist who is also an indefatigable worker and as strong an advocate as IOP residents could hope to have. His only agenda is to do what is right and what is best for our island and our community. He is superbly qualified to represent us by virtue of his education, his intellect, and his business experience and acumen.
He seeks neither recognition nor notoriety, but like EF Hutton, when John speaks, people would do well to listen. John is a doer, not a procrastinator, and has demonstrated a willingness and the ability to take on both complex and controversial problems. John always leads in the pursuit of the best solutions and outcomes. We find ourselves now at somewhat of a crossroads, and the path we choose is remarkably consequential. This is the moment that will determine what our beautiful island looks like and what our unique community feels like, in the decades to come. We must make good choices, and that begins with re-electing John Bogosian to the IOP City Council.
Les & Paula Kutcher, IOP residents

It is my pleasure to endorse John Bogosian for re-election to the IOP City Council. I am so appreciative of the work that he has done and his commitment to continue to serve our community. I know John both from his work on City Council, as well as his volunteer
commitments with the IOP Exchange Club. His extensive experience in senior corporate management, as well as his civic engagement, make him an excellent candidate. I feel confident that he will work diligently to protect quality of life for residents, while
understanding what is needed for fiscally responsible governance. You can be certain that John will maintain the highest ethical standards while serving our community. Let’s keep him on City Council!

John Cipkala Endorses John Bogosian
I endorsed John Bogosian for his first term, believing he possessed the credentials to lead and serve the residents of the Island. We should all be thankful for his service over the past 4 years, as he:
-
Championed fiscal responsibility
-
Advanced traffic and safety improvements
-
Put residents first
-
Protected our beaches and natural resources
John Bogosian is probably the most levelheaded council member with the disciplines of patience, fairness, and preparedness for Council matters. His approach is collecting the necessary information, evaluating options without bias, and calmly presenting his view. John is someone we really need (and more of him!) to lead us again through the next 4 years. I’m voting for John Bogosian and hope you will too—for a better Isle of Palms community.
John Cipkala, IOP resident

Tony Santiago Endorses John Bogosian
I’m proud to support John Bogosian for re-election to Isle of Palms City Council. John has proven himself as a steady, principled leader who listens to residents and does the hard work to protect our community.
He was instrumental in the 2022 Wild Dunes Planned Development District (PDD) amendments, standing firm under pressure to safeguard our quality of life by limiting overdevelopment and preserving the character of Isle of Palms. His leadership helped ensure growth is managed responsibly, with transparency and accountability at the forefront.
At a time when our island faces complex challenges, John brings clarity, balance, and a deep commitment to the residents he serves. That’s the kind of leadership we need to keep Isle of Palms strong for the future.
Tony Santiago, 26-year Isle of Palms Resident

Stan & Susan Harris Endorse John Bogosian
We wholeheartedly endorse John Bogosian for a second term as a City Councilman. John is a results oriented leader. Over the past four years, John has demonstrated his skills in analyzing issues, proposing and communicating solutions, and working hard to bring about consensus. He is a team player but can stand alone if need be for solutions he thinks are best for the majority of residents, stakeholders and businesses.
Stan and Susan Harris, IOP Residents

Jeff Simon Endorses John Bogosian
I have lived on this island a long time. I have raised my children here and now have grandchildren living here . I was a member of council, and have been involved in island politics for many years. I observe our government closely and pay attention to the behavior, statements and votes of our elected officials.
John is exactly the kind of person we want and need on City Council. John has a solid business background, a modest demeanor, and is a listener more than a talker. He comes to meetings well educated on the issues before him. You would think you could say this about every member of council, but you can't, which is why re-electing John is so important.
Everyone who runs for council tells you they are for a family centered, residential community. John has a record from his 4 years on council that makes this more than a campaign slogan. John's votes also prove he is a fiscal conservative and a good steward of your tax dollars.
Keeping citizens like John on council should be the first priority of everyone who lives here. We are lucky to have people like John willing to serve. I urge you to send him back to council for another term.
Jeff Simon
